Luxury brand Gucci, owned by French group Kering, announced on Friday that it will give at least $500,000 (£370,900) to UNICEF (The United Nations Children’s Fund) USA to help supply and distribute COVID-19 vaccines to vulnerable people around the world.

This donation is coming after Gucci donated two million euros ($ 2,427,900) towards COVID-19 efforts in March. In addition to the $500,000 donation, Gucci said it would match money raised for UNICEF by up to $100,000, and invited its followers to donate through the platform gucci.benevity.org in a 21-Day challenge between Dec. 5 and 26.
