We may be running out of words to describe the beauty of Black women, but it is evident that Black women are never running out of beauty. By formal definition, exquisite beauty means intensely, immensely, and extremely beautiful or delicate and the women on our best beauty list from last week are all that and more.

It’s the hair for us as Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross covered Elle magazine’s ‘The state of Black Beauty’. Her cornrows were done in dramatic plaits, with long braids varying in size, resting to the side of her head––with one braid transforming into a long kinky ponytail. So African, so original, and oh, so exquisite!

Still, on braids, American media personality and model, Choyce Brown’s braid chunks and huge Bantu knots were everything, so much so we couldn’t bring ourselves to pick one…
