Tony Elumelu, the chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa, Transcorp and founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation, has been named to Time magazine’s 2020 list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

The 2020 Time100 list, released Tuesday night, is now in its 17th year and recognizes the achievements, innovation, breakthroughs, and impact of artists, athletes, scientists, scholars, journalists, entrepreneurs, corporate titans, global leaders, and politicians.
